James C. Hall Jr. is a Financial Advisor for the Financial Design Group in Toledo, Ohio, providing service to the Mid Western Region.   Mr. Hall received an Associates degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Toledo in 1984 and a Bachelors degree in Business Administration at the University of Toledo in 1987.
 
While attending the University of Toledo, he played football for the Mac Championship Toledo Rockets from 1983-1986 and lettered all three years as a wide receiver.   Mr. Hall was also an avid member of (FCA) Fellowship of Christian Athletes.
 
James has always believed in giving back to the community, especially as it relates to young people. His strong believe in “if you raise a child in the way they should grow, when they are old they well not depart from it” led him to leave a lucrative career in the transportation industry to work for the Boy Scouts of America, Erie Shores Council in the summer of 1988.
 
 While working with the Erie Shores Council BSA, Mr. Hall quickly established himself as a champion for hard to serve youth in Northwest Ohio, establishing many special needs initiatives that provided programs in areas that had never experienced Scouting. The programs include: The Summer Migrant Program, Northwest Ohio Crime Prevention Day, Urban Scoutreach Work Shop, Urban Scoutreach Retreat Weekend and The College Intern Program. Many of these programs are still thriving today not only in Northwest Ohio but throughout the Scouting movement.
 
James Hall enjoyed a 19 year career with the Boy Scouts of America. James began his career in 1988 with the Scouts in Toledo, Ohio and was promoted to Director of Field Services for the Erie Shores Council, Toledo Ohio, in 1996-2004. In 2005 he was promoted to Director of Field Services for The Detroit Area Council in Detroit, Michigan. James concluded his Scouting career in Cleveland, Ohio in 2007. His accomplishments are many but Mr. Hall is most proud of achieving the National Quality Council Award for the top service area in the country 17 out of 19 years during his career and working with so many talented people both volunteers and professionally. 
 
Mr. Hall is a past president of the Optimist Club of Northwest Ohio, Past Chairman of the Central Region Urban Scoutreach/Diversity Committee, Fellow Christian Athlete Member (FCA), Ohio State Mentor Program Advisor and he serves on the Board of the Erie Shores Council, BSA. Mr. Hall looks forward to continuing his passion of serving youth by providing financial investment strategies for non profit organization.

Mr. James C. Hall is married to his lovely wife Lori of eighteen years and together they have been blessed with three wonderful children: James C. III, Taylor Marie and Nathan Michael.
