Mike began his career in financial services in 2001 after completing eight years of service in the United States Marine Corps as a Counterintelligence Operative.  Also in 2001, Mike graduated from St Leo University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business /Accounting.  In addition to working with clients on their risk and wealth management needs, Mike is the Managing Director of Financial Design Group in Arizona.  Mike is a Registered Representative of Securian Financial Services, Inc.

As Managing Director, Mike is responsible for the recruiting, production and supervision of all FDG Arizona associates. He also oversees and coordinates the education and development of all FDG Arizona representatives and staff. Throughout his management career, Mike has been a multiple winner of the General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA) prestigious Career Development Award.

Active in many organizations and charities, Mike is a member of the Phoenix Chapter of NAIFA (National Association of Insurance and Financial Advisors) and the General Agents and Managers Association (GAMA International). He is a past independent director on the Boards of Directors for the Virginia Beach Forum and YMCA of Greater Hartford. Mike is also a contributing member of the National Multiple Sclerosis Society as well as the Humane Society of the United States.

Mike lives in Gilbert, AZ with his wife, Taegen, and daughter Addison. He is active in athletics, participating in numerous leagues and activities including basketball, softball, biking, and golf where he is a member of the Seville Golf and Country Club.
