A resident of the Valley of the Sun since 1990, Russ began his career in the financial industry in 2002 with Professional Planning Associates until June of 2011 when PPA merged with the Financial Design Group.  With FDG Russ continues to work with primarily affluent individuals and business owners, bringing to the table his years of experience as the owner and supervisor of numerous businesses.  Combining integrity, prudence, and professionalism with a deeply seated entrepreneurial spirit, Russ serves his clients with dedication, expertise, and a special understanding.

Additionally, Russ is the Group Benefits Representative for FDG Phoenix.  FDG strives to provide to the small to mid-sized business owner a Benefits package that is customized and adjusted periodically to meet your business needs in an ever changing market.  The solutions to your benefit needs today may be obsolete tomorrow by working together to choose the proper plan design, lines of coverage, and retirement vehicle affordability is managed.   With Russ as the principal contact and the FDG team vendor relationships, sometimes several to a single client and routine administration are handled to allow you the business owner time to grow your business.

Much of Russ’ leisure time is spent in the service of the cities and people with whom he lives and works.  An integral part of many non-profits, service clubs, and civic boards, he believes strongly that a part of doing business is giving back to the community.  Through several board positions and chairmanships, Russ raises hundreds of thousands of dollars annually for the direct benefit of children’s charities
