Steve Superits joined the Financial Design Group team in 2011 and specializes in investment and financial advisory services, asset allocation and risk management for individuals and organizations.

Steve has an extensive background in financial and investment management, most recently serving as Vice President and Chief Investment Officer for Dana Holding Corporation’s $2 billion U.S. pension fund. He has in-depth knowledge of capital markets, pensions and corporate finance, asset allocation, manager due diligence and evaluation, portfolio construction and risk management. He also has hands-on experience in pension fund asset management, serving as portfolio manager for a $90 million actively-managed U.S. value equity fund and as co-manager for a $900 million U.S. Treasury Bond STRIP fund. Steve’s previous assignments at Dana included Vice President of Investor Relations and managing the corporate accounting function. He began his professional career with PricewaterhouseCoopers in Detroit, MI.

Steve is a graduate of Michigan State University and has completed post-graduate programs in financial management and executive development at The University of Michigan Ross School of Business and in pension funds and money management at The Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) and is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants and the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants.

Steve is a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative with Securian Financial Services, Inc., Member FINRA/SIPC.

Steve is a long-time and active member at McCord Road Christian Church in Sylvania, OH and lives with his wife Ginny in Sylvania Township, OH. They are the proud parents of one grown daughter. In addition to his service at McCord, he enjoys golf, biking and spending time with family and friends.
